Field Service Technician - Commercial Kitchen Equipment
About The Position
General Parts Group is hiring experienced commercial kitchen equipment technicians in the Milwaukee area. Technicians service, repair, and maintain restaurant and other commercial foodservice equipment at customer locations, including restaurants, hospitals, schools, and commercial kitchens. The work may focus on commercial cooking equipment, commercial refrigeration, or both. Hourly rates start at $20.00 and go up to $50.00 based on experience. Experienced candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $7,000. The company provides a vehicle and offers steady commercial service work and career growth opportunities. General Parts Group supports technicians pursuing CFESA training certifications.
Requirements
- Experience working on commercial kitchen equipment.
- Valid driver’s license.
- EPA certification for refrigeration technicians.
- Ability to work independently in the field.
Nice To Haves
- Experience servicing both commercial cooking and refrigeration equipment as a combo technician.
- CFESA training certifications; the company encourages technicians to pursue them.
Responsibilities
- Service and repair commercial kitchen equipment at customer locations.
- Work on commercial cooking equipment such as fryers, ovens, and grills; commercial refrigeration such as walk-ins, ice machines, and reach-ins; or both.
- Provide service for customers including restaurants, hospitals, schools, and commercial kitchens.
