Field Service Technician - Commercial Kitchen Equipment

About The Position

General Parts is hiring a Field Service Technician to repair and maintain commercial kitchen equipment in schools, healthcare facilities, and restaurants throughout the technician’s area. The role includes troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining commercial cooking, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment; providing service solutions for gas, electric, and steam systems; and ordering and installing replacement parts. Technicians participate in after-hours and weekend on-call rotations. Pay is $25–$45 per hour, based on experience, with growth opportunities. A company vehicle is provided and dispatched from home. The company provides service tools and equipment, uniforms, paid laundry, ongoing training, career advancement opportunities, and CFESA certification support. Overtime is available on Saturdays, with double-time pay on Sundays and holidays. A sign-on bonus may be available for select roles and candidates at the hiring manager’s discretion and based on business needs; not all hires are eligible. Requirements

Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets the company’s safety standards.
Completion of a criminal background check and drug screen.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

Two or more years of related experience, education, or military training is preferred.
EPA certification for refrigeration technicians.
