About The Position

Airgas is seeking a safety-minded Field Service Technician near Toccoa, Georgia. The role supports customer beverage and gas systems by installing, maintaining, repairing, and removing bulk storage tanks and beverage carbonation systems at customer sites. This is not a delivery-route driving job: technicians use commercial service vehicles, such as F-550s or box trucks requiring a Class A or B CDL, to travel between customer jobs within a 150-mile radius of Toccoa. Technicians perform hands-on mechanical work with hand and power tools to install Microbulk cryogenic tanks, run lines, set up gas monitors, and mount control boxes at commercial sites. They also respond to service calls, troubleshoot system issues, inspect equipment, and replace faulty components. The work includes maneuvering on ladders, running tubing through ceiling tiles, drilling into structures, and moving large stainless steel tanks with specialized hand trucks. Technicians work independently, adapt to changing daily schedules, and may travel overnight occasionally depending on territory needs. The company provides the necessary tools, drills, and lines. The position pays $28.00 per hour, with overtime availability. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with a 7:00 AM start time. Benefits begin after 30 days of employment.
