About The Position

Airgas is seeking a safety-minded Field Service Technician based near Des Moines, Iowa, or Ramsey, Minnesota. The technician installs, maintains, repairs, and removes bulk storage tanks and beverage carbonation systems at customer sites. This is not a delivery-route driving job: technicians use commercial service vehicles, such as F-550s or box trucks requiring a Class A or B CDL, primarily to travel between customer jobs within a 300-mile radius of Des Moines or Ramsey. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with a 7:00 AM start time. Occasional overnight layovers may be scheduled with one to two weeks’ notice. Airgas covers hotel, flight, and rental car costs for travel. The role offers $28.00 per hour, with overtime availability. Company-provided equipment includes the necessary tools, drills, and lines. Training is available for candidates without CO2 or specialty gas experience. Airgas describes itself as a leading U.S. supplier of industrial, medical, and specialty gases and related products. The company emphasizes safety, customer success, sustainability, innovation, and an inclusive workplace.
