About The Position

Wallwork Truck Center is hiring a Field Service Technician to diagnose and repair heavy-duty trucks on the road, at customer locations, and on worksites. The technician manages work independently, stays connected with a supporting branch, and assists in the shop when needed. Starting pay is $40+ per hour, based on experience. Flexible schedule options include four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts.

Requirements

• At least five years of diesel technician experience.
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with little supervision.

Nice To Haves

• A Class B or higher CDL is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, fuel, emissions, brake, steering, and hydraulic issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, component replacements, and test drives.
• Clearly communicate repair findings to customers and the supporting branch.
• Keep accurate service records and maintain the service truck, tools, and parts inventory.
• Respond to service needs while on call and assist in the shop as workload changes.
