About The Position
Wallwork Truck Center is hiring a Field Service Technician to diagnose and repair heavy-duty trucks on the road, at customer locations, and on worksites. The technician manages work independently, stays connected with a supporting branch, and assists in the shop when needed. The role offers starting pay of $40+ per hour, based on experience, and flexible schedules of four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts.
Requirements
- At least five years of diesel technician experience.
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Strong diagnostic skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with little supervision.
Nice To Haves
- A Class B or higher CDL is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, fuel, emissions, brake, steering, and hydraulic issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, component replacements, and test drives.
- Clearly communicate repair findings with customers and the supporting branch.
- Maintain accurate service records and service-truck condition, tools, and parts inventory.
- Respond to service needs while on call and assist in the shop as workload changes.
