About The Position
Southwind is hiring a Field Sales & Service Representative for its 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise operation in Lakeland, Florida. The role combines customer service, on-site sales, and hands-on junk removal. Representatives create positive customer experiences, discuss pricing, provide estimates, close sales, and safely remove unwanted items from homes and businesses. They also drive, navigate, and operate box trucks, with training provided. This is a full-time position scheduled for four to five shifts per week: one mandatory weekend shift and three to four weekday shifts. Shifts last 8–12 hours and may fall between 6:30 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., depending on business needs. Team members must be available for four weekdays and one weekend day each week. Overtime may be needed. No prior junk removal experience is required. Daily recorded role-play scenarios support ongoing training, skill development, and performance improvement. A valid DOT Medical Card is required to drive commercial vehicles, and Southwind covers the full cost of obtaining the DOT Medical Certification. The role requires lifting, carrying, loading, and maneuvering items weighing up to 75 pounds. Uniform standards while at the office include a brown belt, brown steel-toe boots, navy blue work pants or shorts, and company-provided branded polo, ball cap or beanie, and sweatshirt. Requirements
- Maintain availability for four weekdays and one weekend day every week.

- Be physically fit and able to perform hands-on work, including handling items up to 75 pounds.
- Have a valid DOT Medical Card to drive commercial vehicles.
