About The Position

1-800-GOT-JUNK? is hiring a Site Sales & Laborer for its Field Sales & Service Team in Vinings, Georgia, serving the greater Atlanta area. This physically active, customer-facing position provides on-site estimates, closes sales, and removes unwanted items from customers’ homes and businesses. The role combines customer service, sales, driving, and hands-on labor. No prior junk removal experience is required; training is provided, including daily recorded role-play scenarios to support ongoing training, skill development, and performance improvement. The position is full-time, with four to five shifts per week: one mandatory weekend shift and three to four weekday shifts. Shifts last 8–12 hours and may fall between 6:30 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., depending on business needs. Team members must remain available for four weekdays and one weekend day each week. Overtime may be needed. Compensation is listed as $23–$30 per hour or more, including an $11 base rate, profit sharing, and tips. A valid DOT Medical Card is required to drive commercial vehicles, and Southwind covers the full cost of obtaining DOT medical certification. Uniform standards at the office include a brown belt, steel-toe boots, navy blue work pants or shorts, and provided branded apparel: a polo, ball cap or beanie, and sweatshirt. Advancement pathways include Certified Sales Leader, Senior Sales Leader, People Development, Operator, and General Manager. Southwind says it promotes from within whenever possible.

Requirements

A valid DOT Medical Card for driving commercial vehicles; Southwind covers the full cost of obtaining DOT medical certification.
