About The Position

Southwind is hiring a Field Sales & Service Representative for its 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise group. The role combines customer service, on-site sales, and hands-on junk removal for homes and businesses. Representatives create positive customer experiences, discuss pricing, provide estimates, close sales, and remove items safely. They also drive, navigate, and operate box trucks; training is provided. No prior junk removal experience is required. Team members participate in daily recorded role-play scenarios for training, skill development, and performance improvement. This is a full-time role with 4–5 shifts per week, including one mandatory weekend shift and 3–4 weekday shifts. Shifts are 8–10 hours and may take place between 7:00 AM and 10:00 PM, depending on business needs. Employees must be available four weekdays and one weekend day each week. The stated total compensation range is $26.00–$29.00+ per hour, consisting of a $15.25 base hourly rate, tips, profit share, and performance incentives; overtime is also mentioned. Employees must maintain the specified uniform while at the office, on or off the clock. A valid DOT Medical Card is required to drive commercial vehicles, and Southwind covers the full cost of obtaining DOT Medical Certification. Advancement pathways include Certified Sales Leader, Senior Sales Leader, People Development, Operator, and General Manager. The company says it promotes from within whenever possible.
