Junk Removal and Field Sales
About The Position
Southwind is hiring an ambitious, outgoing, and active Field Sales & Service Representative for its 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise group. The role combines customer service, on-site sales, and hands-on junk removal at homes and businesses. Representatives create positive customer experiences, discuss pricing, provide estimates, close sales, and safely remove unwanted items. Driving and operating box trucks is part of the role, with training provided. No prior junk removal experience is required; team members participate in daily recorded role-play scenarios for continued training, skill development, and performance improvement. This is a full-time position scheduled for four to five shifts per week, including one mandatory weekend shift and three to four weekday shifts. Shifts are eight to ten hours and may occur between 7:00 AM and 10:00 PM, depending on business needs. Team members must be available four weekdays and one weekend day each week. Total compensation is listed as $28.00–$32.00+ per hour, including a $15.50 base hourly rate, tips, profit share, performance incentives, and overtime. A valid DOT Medical Card is required to drive commercial vehicles, and Southwind covers the full cost of obtaining the DOT Medical Certification. Uniform standards include a brown belt, brown steel-toe boots, navy blue work pants or shorts, and company-provided branded polo, ball cap or beanie, and sweatshirt. Advancement pathways include Certified Sales Leader, Senior Sales Leader, People Development, Operator, and General Manager. Requirements
