About The Position

Catons Plumbing is hiring Field Sales Representatives for its Water Restoration department. The role focuses on identifying and selling opportunities to mitigate water-related property damage in residential and commercial settings. Representatives assess properties for moisture levels and determine the need for demolition and drying. They follow up with existing customers, provide competitive quotes using the company pricing matrix and/or insurance guidelines, close sales, and serve as trusted information resources for customers. Leads are provided by field service technicians and call centers; cold calling is not required. The position offers weekly base pay plus commission, with stated average annual earnings of $65,000–$80,000, as well as mileage reimbursement. Flexible work schedules are offered. The role requires availability for scheduled day, night, weekend, and holiday work.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license and an acceptable background check under company standards.
Demonstrated focus on outstanding customer service.
Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
Knowledge of water restoration and its practices.
Organized, self-starting approach and an outgoing personality.
Working knowledge of common software such as Word and Excel; other Catons/Roto-Rooter programs will also be used.
Maintain IICRC Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) and Applied Structural Drying Technician (ASD) certifications.
Medical clearance to wear a respirator and successful completion of a respirator fit test.

Nice To Haves

Previous outside sales experience, particularly selling in-home services, is strongly desired; other outside sales experience will be considered.
