About The Position

Roto-Rooter is seeking a Field Sales Representative for its Water Restoration department. The role identifies and sells opportunities to mitigate water-related property damage in residential and commercial settings. Representatives assess properties to determine moisture levels and the need for demolition and drying, follow up with customers about plumbing or water-related issues, provide competitive quotes using the company pricing matrix and/or insurance guidelines, and help customers choose repair or replacement solutions. Leads are provided by field service technicians and call centers; cold calling is not required. Compensation includes weekly base pay plus commission, with advertised average annual earnings of $55,000–$75,000, plus mileage reimbursement. The position offers flexible work schedules and industry benefits.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and an acceptable background check under company standards.
• Demonstrated focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of Water Restoration and its practices.
• Organized, self-starting approach and an outgoing personality.
• Working knowledge of common software such as Word and Excel, and ability to use Roto-Rooter-specific computer programs.
• Maintain IICRC Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) and Applied Structural Drying Technician (ASD) certifications in Water Damage Restoration.
• Medical clearance to wear a respirator and completion of a respirator fit test.

Nice To Haves

• Previous outside sales experience, particularly selling in-home services; other outside sales experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities
