Field Engineer 4
About The Position
TekWissen is recruiting for a client, a global information technology company providing high-performance, industry-focused solutions and services. The Field Engineer will service laptops and desktops across the Tempe metro area and surrounding locations. This is a 14-month temporary assignment involving driving between service locations. The technician will receive service requests to repair computers, including replacing hard drives, motherboards, and keyboards. Other work may include swapping entire units and repairing or replacing PC peripherals. The technician must have reliable transportation and close service tickets in real time in the client’s Call Management system using a company-provided phone.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of hands-on laptop and desktop break-fix experience.
- General knowledge of laptop and desktop hardware and software, including basic knowledge of Microsoft applications.
- Ability to resolve basic or non-complex problems as directed.
- Reliable transportation for travel to service locations in the metro and surrounding areas.

- Computer-building background experience.
