About The Position
As a Field/Computer Technician, you will be assigned service requests to repair laptops and desktops in the metro area. Work may include replacing hard drives, motherboards, and keyboards; performing whole-unit swaps; and repairing or replacing PC peripherals. Reliable transportation is required because the role services the metro and surrounding areas. You will close service tickets in real time in the Call Management system using a company-provided phone.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience with laptop and desktop break-fix.
- Own a reliable car and have car insurance.
- General knowledge of laptop and desktop hardware and software, including basic knowledge of Microsoft applications.
- Ability to resolve basic or non-complex problems as directed.
Nice To Haves
- Computer-building background experience.
