About The Position

The Field Access Manager (FAM) is a customer-facing role focused on providing coverage and access education. The FAM minimizes payor and pharmacy barriers for patients and providers by providing accurate information about managed care coverage, payor policies, and affordability for Incyte products within an assigned geography. The role works with internal teams—including Sales, Patient Access, and Market Access—and external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, medical assistants, and business coordinators, to address access and affordability concerns. The FAM provides live education to healthcare professionals and office staff on prior authorization requirements, coverage status, appeals, medical exceptions, alternate funding options for uninsured and underinsured patients, and related processes and timelines. The position monitors patient cases through a navigator portal with proper patient consent, supports customers navigating specialty pharmacy and retail dermatology pharmacy distribution, and serves as a knowledgeable resource on local payors, coverage, reimbursement, and Incyte patient support programs. The FAM also develops local access strategies and business plans, collaborates across the organization and with external vendors, and works with Compliance and Legal to help ensure programs comply with applicable requirements. FAMs are expected to work in the field and call on customers three to four days per week.
