About The Position

The Fast Track Management Program is a 3–12 month management training program designed to prepare participants to operate a Brakes Plus store. Participants learn the business and how to run a financially sound, high-performing location. The program emphasizes building a motivated team and creating an environment where the service team can thrive. Participants work on the lobby floor with the Sales Team and in the shop with the Service Team to improve performance and carry out store processes. Participants who meet or exceed expectations are typically offered store management opportunities within 3–12 months.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of management experience in the automotive industry, or 4 years of management experience.
• Basic understanding of store technology, including POS systems and email.
• Experience with payroll management, expense analysis, and inventory control.
• Experience as an automotive technician or bay manager.
• Demonstrated success in employee retention and conflict resolution.
• Strong leadership, communication, and adaptability skills.
• Ability to review and analyze a P&L statement.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to develop professional relationships with customers and team members.
• Solid knowledge of basic OSHA laws.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to operate a Brakes Plus store and manage its business.

• Create an environment in which the service team can thrive.
• Work alongside the Sales Team on the lobby floor and the Service Team in the shop.
• Help improve service-team performance and assist with executing store processes.
• Manage payroll, expenses, and inventory.
• Review and analyze profit-and-loss statements.
