About The Position

Brakes Plus is hiring automotive leaders for its Fast Track Management Program, a training program designed to prepare participants to operate a Brakes Plus store, with a future goal of becoming a Regional Manager. Participants learn the business and how to run a financially sound, high-performing location. The program focuses on building a motivated team and creating an environment where the service team can thrive. Participants work on the lobby floor with the Sales Team and in the shop with the Service Team to improve performance and support execution of store processes. Advancement timelines vary; team members who perform and exceed expectations are typically offered store management opportunities within 3–12 months.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of management experience in automotive or 4 years of management experience.
• Basic understanding of store technology such as POS systems and email.
• Experience with payroll management, expense analysis, and inventory control.
• Experience as a technician or bay manager.
• Demonstrated success in employee retention and conflict resolution.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, and adaptability to change.
• Ability to review and analyze a P&L statement.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to develop professional relationships with customers and team members.
• Ability to work efficiently independently and as part of a team.
• Solid knowledge of basic OSHA laws.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Learn the operational and business practices needed to operate a Brakes Plus store.
• Develop and motivate a high-performing team.
• Work with the Sales Team on the lobby floor and the Service Team in the shop.
