About The Position

The Fast Track Management Program is a management training program designed to prepare participants to efficiently operate a Brakes Plus store, with the future goal of becoming a Regional Manager. Participants learn the business and how to operate a financially sound, high-performing location. The program emphasizes building a motivated team and creating an environment where the service team can thrive. Participants are expected to be present on the lobby floor with the Sales Team and in the shop working closely with the Service Team to improve performance and execute store processes. Although the timeframe varies, participants who perform and exceed expectations are typically offered Store Management opportunities within 3–12 months.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of management experience in automotive or 4 years of management experience.
• Basic understanding of store technology, such as POS systems and email.
• Experience with payroll management, expense analysis, and inventory control.
• Experience as a technician or bay manager.
• Demonstrated success in employee retention and conflict resolution.
• Outstanding leadership and communication skills, and adaptability to change.
• Ability to review and analyze a P&L statement.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to develop professional relationships with customers and team members.
• Ability to work efficiently both individually and as part of a team.
• Solid knowledge of basic OSHA laws.
• Valid driver's license.

• Learn the Brakes Plus business and prepare to operate a financially sound, high-performing store.
• Build a highly motivated team and develop an environment for the service team to thrive.
• Work alongside the Sales Team on the lobby floor and the Service Team in the shop.
• Help improve Service Team performance and support execution of store processes.
