About The Position

Brakes Plus is hiring for its Fast Track Management Program, a management training program designed to prepare participants to efficiently operate a Brakes Plus store, with the future goal of becoming a Regional Manager. Participants learn the business and how to operate a financially sound, high-performing location. The program emphasizes building a motivated team and creating an environment where the service team can thrive. Trainees are expected to work alongside the Sales Team on the lobby floor and the Service Team in the shop to improve performance and support store processes. The timeline varies by team member; those who meet and exceed expectations are typically offered store management opportunities within 3–12 months.

Compensation is listed as $60,000–$100,000 annual income, based on experience. Brakes Plus operates more than 200 stores across Colorado, Wyoming, Arizona, Texas, Nebraska, Iowa, and Oklahoma.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of management experience in automotive or 4 years of management experience.
• Basic understanding of store technology, including POS systems and email.
• Experience with payroll management, expense analysis, and inventory control.
• Experience as a technician or bay manager.
• Demonstrated success in employee retention and conflict resolution.
• Outstanding leadership and communication skills, and adaptability to change.
• Ability to review and analyze a P&L statement.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to develop professional relationships with customers and team members.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Solid knowledge of basic OSHA laws.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Learn the Brakes Plus business and prepare to operate a financially sound, high-performing store.
• Build and motivate a team and develop an environment that supports the service team.
• Work with the Sales Team on the lobby floor and with the Service Team in the shop.
• Help improve service-team performance and assist with executing store processes.
• Learn to efficiently operate a Brakes Plus store, with a future goal of becoming a Regional Manager.
