About The Position

The Fast Track Management Program prepares participants to efficiently operate a Brakes Plus store, with the future goal of becoming a Regional Manager. Participants learn the business and how to operate a financially sound, high-performing location. The program emphasizes building a motivated team and creating an environment where the service team can thrive. Participants work alongside the Sales Team on the lobby floor and with the Service Team in the shop to improve performance and support store processes. Advancement timing varies, but team members who perform well and exceed expectations are typically offered store management opportunities within 3–12 months.

Requirements

At least 2 years of management experience in automotive, or 4 years of management experience.
Basic understanding of store technology, such as POS systems and email.
Experience with payroll management, expense analysis, and inventory control.
Experience as a technician or bay manager.
Demonstrated success in employee retention and conflict resolution.
Strong leadership and communication skills, and adaptability to change.
Ability to review and analyze a P&L statement.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to develop professional relationships with customers and team members.
Ability to work efficiently independently and as part of a team.
Solid knowledge of basic OSHA laws.
Valid driver's license.
