About The Position

SSP America operates multiple restaurants at Bradley International Airport and is seeking a friendly, team-oriented Fast Food Worker who enjoys staying busy, achieving high standards, and taking initiative. The role involves preparing, serving, and selling food and beverages while maintaining service areas and equipment. Workers greet guests, take and prepare orders, process payments, and provide timely, professional service aimed at guest satisfaction.

Requirements

One year of experience working in a food service environment.
Ability to read, speak, and understand English to communicate with guests.
Ability to remember, recite, and promote menu items.
Ability to operate a keyboard and use point-of-sale procedures to pre-check orders and close out checks.
Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet guests courteously and in a friendly manner.
Process orders and enter them accurately into the point-of-sale system.
Receive customer payments and process change.
Set up, regularly maintain, clean, and break down machinery and equipment.
Complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists as required.
Return items used during the shift to their proper places and clean and organize work and storage areas, including coolers and refrigerators.
Empty and re-line trash containers.
Perform assigned general and specific cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products and adhere to health standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
