About The Position

Massanutten Resort is hiring a full-time Family Adventure Park Lead Supervisor to oversee administrative work and staff development in a team-oriented outdoor recreation environment. The role requires leadership, communication, organization, interpersonal, customer service, and multitasking skills. The position works primarily in an office environment and requires a valid driver’s license and approved driving record. The schedule varies seasonally, includes weekends, holidays, and evenings, and is 40 hours per week. Pay is $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and approved driving record.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

• Prior supervisory experience.
• Prior outdoor recreation experience.
• Prior experience working at the Family Adventure Park.

Responsibilities

• Oversee administrative tasks, including employee scheduling, maintaining personnel folders, tracking pertinent information, and coordinating large-scale staff training.
• Guide supervisory staff and model good decision-making and judgment.
• Oversee and promote quality assurance to exceed guest expectations, and address guest needs and concerns as they arise.
• Set performance metrics for team members and work with the team and supervisory staff to ensure metrics are met.
• Function as the department manager on duty.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
