Family Adventure Park Attendant
About The Position
The Family Adventure Park Attendant works as part of a team to assist guests and support the safe operation of attractions, including the Mega Zip Line, Kids Adventure Course, Quick Flight/Climbing Tower, Bounce House, Conveyor Lift, Gem Mining, Summer Tubing, Snow Tubing, and Mountain Coaster. Attendants provide customer service, communicate with guests and coworkers, and complete on-the-job training. Comfort working at heights is a plus, though ground-level positions are available. This is an outdoor winter position requiring work in cold weather and a wide range of weather conditions. The role is seasonal, with schedules varying from week to week, including weekends and holidays. Hours may include evenings as needed, with 16 to 40 hours per week. Pay is $13.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Strong customer service skills and willingness to interact with the public.
- Ability to perform job functions according to departmental goals, standards, and safety precautions.
- Ability to work outdoors in a wide range of weather conditions, including cold weather.
- Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and guests.
- Willingness to learn and complete on-the-job training.
Nice To Haves
- Comfort working at heights.
- Previous experience with outdoor recreation, adventure parks or high ropes, or customer service.
Responsibilities
- Complete required on-the-job training and become familiar with industry operating standards and safety protocols.
- Facilitate the daily operation of various park attractions.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Provide excellent customer service and consistent support to guests and participants.
- Assist and support participants as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
