About The Position
AlphaGov is engaging an experienced practitioner as a project-based collaborator for current higher-education work. The engagement concerns a public university procuring a faculty information system for activity reporting, annual reviews, and electronic promotion and tenure dossiers. Work is remote-first with occasional client travel. AlphaGov confirms scope, schedule, and fee with the consultant before an engagement begins. With the consultant’s authorization, AlphaGov may identify them as an expert collaborator or key personnel on proposals matching their expertise.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience implementing faculty information systems in higher education.
- Experience with Watermark Faculty Success, Interfolio, Elements, or a similar platform.
- Comfortable working as a 1099 project-based consultant.
Nice To Haves
- Accreditation reporting experience, including SACSCOC.
- Academic affairs background.
- Experience integrating with Banner or Workday.
Responsibilities
- Map faculty activity reporting, annual review, and promotion and tenure processes.
- Configure faculty information system platforms and integrations with student information systems and human resources information systems.
- Plan data migration and reporting for accreditation.
- Train faculty and administrators.
- Contribute qualifications and past-performance narratives to AlphaGov proposals when authorized to be named.
