About The Position

As an Implementation Consultant, you will guide new customers from signed contract through go-live, helping them establish reliable financial reporting. You will understand each customer’s reporting requirements, build financial statements and management reports in FYIsoft’s reporting and budgeting applications, and train finance teams to operate and maintain those reports independently. After go-live, you will continue supporting customers by resolving issues, helping them improve their reporting, and building confidence in their financial data.

The role involves managing multiple implementations and providing ongoing customer support. You will work with customer finance and technical teams to configure reporting and budgeting solutions, validate data and report output, and adapt reports as customers’ businesses and needs change. The position is based in Naples, Florida, or on the U.S. East Coast. The listed salary range is $100,000–$110,000.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of accounting experience, such as in a staff accountant, senior accountant, GL accountant, or controller role.
• Hands-on experience building financial statements and management reports.
• Experience implementing a general ledger, ERP, or financial reporting application, including setup of charts of accounts, dimensions, entities, or report packages.
• Strong understanding of the general ledger, account structures, month-end close, and core financial statements.
• Customer-first attitude, patience, and clear written and verbal communication with finance teams, including on calls and in training sessions.
• Ability to manage several projects and deadlines at once with little oversight.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with ERP or accounting systems such as NetSuite, Business Central, Sage Intacct, or Acumatica.
• Experience with financial report writers, budgeting tools, or FP&A tools.
• Familiarity with multi-entity consolidations and currency translation.
• Working knowledge of SQL or data mapping.
• Prior customer-facing experience at a software company or consulting firm.

Responsibilities

• Review customers’ general ledger setups, charts of accounts, dimensions, and entities, and map them for reporting.
• Build row and column definitions, calculations, and report layouts for P&Ls, balance sheets, cash flow statements, budget-versus-actual reports, and consolidated reports.
• Configure budgeting models and multi-currency translation when needed.
• Validate report output against customers’ trial balances and resolve variances.
• Work with customers’ technical teams to confirm that general ledger data connections are complete and accurate.
• Train finance users and administrators through live sessions and written guides.
• Manage multiple implementations at once, tracking tasks, risks, and go-live dates.
• Provide ongoing support to live customers by email and screen share, resolving report, budget, and data questions.
• Troubleshoot report and data issues, identify root causes, and follow through until customers are satisfied.
• Help customers build new reports and update existing reports as their business, chart of accounts, or reporting needs change.
• Hold periodic customer check-ins to review application use and recommend improvements.
• Document common issues and solutions for the knowledge base.
• Share customer feedback with the Development Team to improve onboarding and the software.
