About The Position

Snyk is hiring an Implementation Consultant to guide enterprise customers through post-sales onboarding, from signed contract to a working application security program. The role delivers implementation engagements for a defined set of customers, working with development and security teams to deploy the Snyk platform across their SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure. It combines hands-on technical work with project delivery, helping customers configure Snyk correctly and get their teams using it. The Customer Solutions team owns the technical success of Snyk customers after a deal closes, from initial onboarding through full platform adoption. Implementation Consultants work alongside Technical Success, Support, Sales, and Product to turn customer security goals into a deployed, measurable program. The team is expanding as Snyk's install base grows, with the aim of continuing to deliver a world-class onboarding experience at scale.

Requirements

At least 3 years in technical consulting, professional services, or another customer-facing technical role, including hands-on SaaS software implementation.
Working knowledge of the SDLC and modern DevOps methodologies, and understanding of where security fits into both.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD and DevOps tooling such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, Azure DevOps, or Kubernetes.
Experience managing multiple customer projects concurrently and delivering them on schedule.
Ability to explain technical topics clearly to audiences ranging from individual developers to security and engineering managers.
Genuine interest in application security and belief in a developer-first approach to solving it.
Consultative aptitude for bringing people, technology, and process together, with strong relationship-building and project management skills.
Working fluency with AI-assisted tools such as Claude or Gemini, and comfort with how AI-generated code is changing customer security needs.
Excellent written and verbal communication, with an organized and disciplined approach to problem solving.

Nice To Haves

Proficiency in a scripting language such as Python, JavaScript, or another modern language.
Prior experience as a solutions architect, sales engineer, or technical account manager for AppSec, CI, or DevSecOps products.
A security certification such as CISSP, CSSLP, or CEH.
A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management credential.
A Computer Science degree or equivalent programming background, and exposure to enterprise-scale web technologies and microservices.

Responsibilities

Deliver customer implementations from kick-off through closure using Snyk's onboarding methodology, keeping scope, schedule, and risk on track.
Manage multiple onboarding engagements concurrently, seeking guidance from senior consultants and the manager on complex or unfamiliar situations.
Work with customer development and security teams to configure Snyk rollouts for their SDLC, CI/CD tooling, and cloud environments.
Run project kick-offs, working sessions, and regular status reviews, keeping customer stakeholders informed about progress, dependencies, and open issues.
Capture customer technical requirements and relay them to Snyk's internal teams; explain platform capabilities in actionable terms for customer engineers.
Use and contribute to onboarding playbooks, templates, and technical assets to make implementations consistent and repeatable.
Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and Support to resolve blockers and help customers reach value faster.
Troubleshoot integration and configuration issues hands-on across source control, CI/CD, container, and cloud environments.
Show customer teams how to apply developer-first security practices so adoption continues after the engagement ends.
Share recurring field issues and customer feedback with product and enablement teams.
