About The Position

Taher, Inc. is hiring a utility worker to support food-service operations. The role involves cleaning and maintaining dishes, kitchen surfaces, floors, workstations, and the overall work environment; handling supplies and waste; and assisting other team members as needed. The position offers day hours with no nights or weekends. Employees must follow food-safety and sanitation guidelines, maintain personal hygiene and the department dress code, be punctual and dependable, and complete other tasks assigned by the leadership team.

Requirements

Able to follow oral and written directions.
Able to reach, bend, and stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
Able to work standing for long periods.
Punctual and dependable.
Follow food-safety requirements and guidelines.
Self-starter able to work independently.
Must pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

Scrape, wash, and put away dishes, pots, pans, and utensils by hand or using a dish machine as required.
Sweep and mop floors.
Wash tables, walls, coolers, trash receptacles, and other items as required.
Follow procedures for storing and disposing of trash and transport it to designated areas.
Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
Maintain a clean work environment and keep the assigned workstation safe and sanitary.
Assist other team members as needed.
Be on time and maintain acceptable personal hygiene while complying with the department dress code.
Complete other tasks assigned by the leadership team.
