About The Position

Taher, Inc. is hiring a utility worker for day hours, with no nights or weekends. The role supports food-service operations by washing dishes and kitchen equipment, cleaning and sanitizing work areas, handling trash, and moving supplies and equipment. The employee is expected to follow food-safety and workplace procedures, maintain a safe and sanitary work station, and assist other team members as needed.

Requirements

Able to follow oral and written directions.
Able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
Able to stand for long periods of time.
Punctual and dependable.
Follows food-safety requirements and guidelines.
Self-starter able to work independently.
Must pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

Scrape, wash, and put away dishes, pots, pans, and utensils by hand or using a dish machine.
Sweep and mop floors.
Wash tables, walls, coolers, trash receptacles, and other items as required.
Follow procedures for storing and disposing of trash and transport it to designated areas.
Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
Maintain a clean work environment.
Assist other team members as needed.
Arrive on time and be dependable.
Maintain an assigned work station in a safe and sanitary condition.
Maintain acceptable personal hygiene and comply with the department dress code.
Perform other tasks as assigned by the leadership team.
