About The Position

Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in manufacturing areas through general janitorial duties. Tasks include removing trash, cleaning restrooms and break rooms, operating floor sweeper and scrubber machines, and maintaining outdoor grounds to support a clean and safe work environment. The position is based in a manufacturing or production environment and requires regular, reliable, in-person attendance. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to read and write English.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet business and production demands.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance in person and on site.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Visual and auditory acuity needed for safe equipment operation and effective communication in a busy workspace.
• Ability to perform physical tasks that may include extended standing, repetitive motions, lifting or carrying up to 35 pounds, pushing or pulling up to 50 pounds and up to 30 pounds sustained, bending, kneeling, and climbing.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of outdoor grounds and the facility yard.
• Empty trash cans and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
• Clean interior surfaces, including windows, mirrors, and walls.
• Perform light maintenance on power sweeper equipment.
• Operate a cardboard compactor and other cleaning equipment as needed.
