About The Position

Facility Support I is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in manufacturing areas through general janitorial duties. Work includes removing trash, cleaning restrooms and break rooms, operating floor sweeper and scrubber machines, and maintaining outdoor grounds to support a clean and safe work environment. The role is based in a manufacturing or production environment and requires regular, reliable in-person attendance. Specific working conditions may vary with business needs and individual circumstances.

Requirements

• Ability to read and write English.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet business and production demands.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance in person and on site.
• Wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
• Visual and auditory acuity for safe equipment operation and effective communication in a busy workspace.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Maintain the cleanliness of outdoor grounds and the facility yard.
• Empty trash cans and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
• Clean interior surfaces, including windows, mirrors, and walls.
• Perform light maintenance on power sweeper equipment.
• Operate a cardboard compactor and other cleaning equipment as needed.
