About The Position
The Host/Hostess is the friendly first point of contact for guests at Brian Head Resort. This seasonal Food & Beverage role focuses on welcoming guests and keeping the dining room organized and flowing smoothly. The host manages waitlists and seating, answers guest questions, and supports the team during busy periods. The position runs from November 2026 through April 2027.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and night shifts as needed.
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
- Must have or be able to obtain a Food Handler’s Permit or ServSafe certification.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, answer questions, and provide accurate wait times.
- Organize seating charts and manage guest flow during busy periods.
- Coordinate with servers, bussers, and kitchen staff to support smooth transitions.
- Share information about the menu, specials, and Resort offerings with guests.
- Assist with bussing, water service, and other light duties during peak periods.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
