About The Position

The F&B Host welcomes guests, manages seating, and helps create an organized dining experience. The role includes monitoring table availability, accommodating larger parties by combining tables while maintaining adequate aisle space, responding to guest requests, and ensuring the restaurant entrance and exit remain attended. This is a part-time swing-shift position at Point Place Casino Hotel, with a starting pay rate of $16.50 per hour.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Ability to lift 21–30 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Previous Host experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and ensure they are seated in a timely manner.
• Maintain awareness of table availability in the designated area.
• Combine tables as needed to accommodate larger parties while preserving sufficient aisle space for servers.
• Maintain a pleasant demeanor and respond to guest requests.
• Ensure the restaurant entrance and exit are attended.
