About The Position

The General Manager of the Alpenglow Stube, a fine dining establishment, ensures that the staff provide and that guests receive the highest levels of service. The GM is responsible for managing staff, effectively handling financials, and taking overall responsibility for front of house operations. This position requires riding 2 gondolas in the winter. Skiing and riding is NOT required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of food and beverage experience - required
  • Minimum 1 year of management experience - required
  • Ability to communicate professionally with staff and guests
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays - required
  • Provide own slip-resistant shoes in accordance with Vail policy - required

Nice To Haves

  • MS Office and PeopleSoft proficiency is a plus
  • College Degree - preferred
  • TIPS and ServSafe Certification - preferred
  • High level of knowledge of wines - preferred
