About The Position

The F&B Counter Server works in Food & Beverage at Burgers of Madison County, delivering friendly and attentive service to guests and employees. The role includes keeping the outlet clean and organized, operating the cash register, serving food and beverages, and staying knowledgeable about the menu and current promotions to help guests make informed choices. The server also informs guests about casino facilities and their locations and assists in the dining area as needed.

Requirements

Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to speak English.
Ability to ring in orders, count money, make correct change, and settle checks using the point-of-sale system.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods and lift up to 41–50 pounds.
Must be available for flexible scheduling, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional guest service when selling food and beverage items to guests or employees, and inform guests about casino facilities and their locations.
Operate a cash register or cash bank and accept payment for food and beverage products, accurately making change.
Respond to guest questions about food items, prices, preparation methods, sale items, and product availability; upsell food and beverage products.
Keep the assigned area orderly and clean and sanitize designated counters; assist in the dining area as needed.
