About The Position

Point Place Casino is seeking friendly, energetic Beverage Servers to provide fast, courteous drink service to guests on the gaming floor and in other designated areas. The role involves working in a fun, fast-paced environment and delivering a positive guest experience. Swing shifts are available; a typical shift is 4 p.m.–2 a.m. The Beverage Server checks the assigned work area before the shift, keeps a service tray stocked with items such as ashtrays, straws, and napkins, and services the area by taking and serving drink orders, changing ashtrays, removing empty cups, pushing in chairs, and completing side work. The server maintains knowledge of the beverage and food menu, service procedures, and pricing. The role offers hands-on training and opportunities for career growth in a professional, team-oriented environment focused on guest service.

Requirements

Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to speak English.
Ability to count money and make correct change.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
Ability to lift up to 41–50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Previous food and beverage server experience.
Tray-handling experience.

Responsibilities

Check the assigned work area promptly before beginning each shift.
Keep the service tray stocked with ashtrays, straws, napkins, and other needed items.
Service the assigned work area by changing ashtrays, taking drink orders, serving drinks, removing empty cups, pushing in chairs, and completing assigned side work.
Maintain knowledge of the full beverage and food menu, service procedures, and pricing.
Ring in orders and settle checks using the Point of Sale system.
