Requirements

  • Hospitality oriented
  • Previous experience in Food & Beverage, In-Room Dining, Room Service, or Restaurant Service preferred.
  • Able to handle difficult situations effectively
  • Strong communication and guest service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Ability to carry trays, push service carts, and stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evening shifts.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining luxury hospitality standards.
  • Must be able to lift to 25 pounds
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Fully Bilingual (Spanish and English)

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and engage guests in a warm, professional, and courteous manner, anticipating and responding to their needs to ensure an outstanding dining experience.
  • Take, deliver, and serve food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently in guest rooms and designated hotel areas.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of all menu offerings, including ingredients, preparation methods, accompaniments, and beverage pairings.
  • Answer guest questions regarding menu items and provide recommendations in a clear and knowledgeable manner.
  • Follow established service standards and procedures to ensure a consistent and high-quality guest experience.
  • Prepare, set up, and maintain service stations, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and readiness for service.
  • Verify that all assigned stations, equipment, and service areas are properly stocked and maintained before, during, and after service.
  • Utilize all necessary service tools and equipment, including trays, order pads, corkscrews, and other service-related items.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to supervisors in a timely manner.
  • Maintain the security and proper storage of beverages, liquor, wine, beer, equipment, and supplies.
  • Complete cashiering responsibilities accurately, including processing payments, balancing transactions, resolving discrepancies, and securing assigned banks.
  • Perform opening and closing duties according to departmental procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, quality, and brand standards.
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and promptly report accidents, injuries, hazards, or unsafe conditions.
  • Complete all required training programs and certifications.
  • Foster positive working relationships with team members and collaborate effectively to achieve departmental goals.
  • Maintain a clean, professional appearance and uphold the confidentiality of company and guest information.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
