About The Position

Germain Subaru is hiring an Express Service Advisor to manage its quick-service lane, including oil changes, tire rotations, multi-point inspections, and routine maintenance. This is a high-volume, performance-based position focused on speed, accuracy, consistency, and a positive customer experience. The stated pay is $16–$22 per hour, with weekly pay. The role offers a path to grow into a full advisor role or other opportunities within the Germain Automotive Partnership.

Requirements

Prior experience as a service advisor, service consultant, or in a fast-paced customer service role; automotive experience is preferred but not always required for express service.
Ability to multitask and keep several repair orders moving at once.
Basic understanding of routine vehicle maintenance.
Strong communication skills and ability to build trust quickly with customers waiting on-site.
Organized, detail-oriented, and calm under time pressure.
Professional appearance and strong work ethic.
Valid driver's license required.
Must pass pre-employment background, drug, and motor vehicle record screenings.

Nice To Haves

ASE certification.

Responsibilities

Greet express-lane customers promptly and set clear expectations about wait times.
Write accurate, efficient repair orders for routine maintenance and quick-turn repairs.
Explain multi-point inspection findings and recommend needed maintenance, such as fluids, filters, wipers, tires, and batteries.
Monitor express-bay cycle times and flag delays before they become problems.
Communicate proactively when a vehicle needs to be routed to the main shop for larger repairs.
Build customer trust through clear, honest communication, including explaining when a service can wait.
Maintain strong customer satisfaction scores in a high-volume, fast-moving environment.
