About The Position

Chapman Automotive Group is looking for an Express Service Advisor to join their team. As an Express Service Advisor, you will make vehicle service recommendations, educating customers on the value of routine maintenance and repairs, and keep customers updated throughout the service process, ensuring each customer leaves the dealership satisfied with their experience. You will work cohesively with other Express Service Advisors and a team of Express Technicians.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of customer service or sales experience is required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, both in person and over the phone.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales goals.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior automotive service advisor/writer experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule, confirm and prepare for customer appointments, ensuring an efficient service experience.
  • Determine vehicle needs based on customer feedback, vehicle inspection, and current mileage.
  • Write repair orders for customers, including cost and time estimates, with full transparency.
  • Obtain customer authorization for recommended services and collect payment.
  • Communicate regularly with technicians and parts associates to ensure timely completion of work.
  • Follow-up with customers on the status of their vehicle and satisfaction of service.
