Express Automotive Technician - Nalley Acura
About The Position
The Express Automotive Technician (described in the posting as a Quick Lube Technician) is an entry-level technician responsible for basic maintenance of customer vehicles. The role requires exceptional teamwork and the ability to perform repetitive, complex tasks. This is an hourly-paid position. Technicians perform routine maintenance and inspections, use a multi-point inspection form for each vehicle, and ensure vehicles are returned in the same or better condition than when received. They also participate in manufacturer-sponsored training and expand their knowledge of new technologies.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must have basic tools.
- Must pass pre-employment background and drug screening.
- Must have a positive attitude and be a team player.
Nice To Haves
- Automotive technical school certifications are preferred.
- Previous experience is highly preferred.
- Apprenticeship experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes, tire rotations, tire balancing, and battery testing.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance.
- Accurately use the multi-point inspection form on each vehicle.
- Use product and technical training as assigned by the manufacturer and management.
- Ensure customer vehicles are returned in the same condition or better than when brought in.
- Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training, programs, and schools.
- Continuously expand knowledge of new technologies and automotive practices.
