About The Position

The Express Automotive Technician is an entry-level, hourly-paid technician responsible for basic maintenance of customer vehicles. The role requires exceptional teamwork and the ability to perform repetitive, complex tasks. The technician performs maintenance and inspections, completes multi-point inspection forms accurately, and ensures vehicles are returned in the same or better condition than when received. The technician also uses product and technical training provided by the manufacturer and management, participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs and schools, and continuously expands knowledge of new technologies and practices.

Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have basic tools.
• Must pass pre-employment screening, including a background check and drug test.
• Must have a positive attitude and be a team player.

Nice To Haves

• Automotive technical school certifications are preferred.
• Previous experience is highly preferred.
• Apprenticeship experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, tire balancing, and battery testing.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance.
• Accurately complete a multi-point inspection form for each vehicle.
• Use product and technical training as assigned by the manufacturer and management.
• Ensure customer vehicles are returned in the same or better condition than when brought in.
• Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training, programs, and schools.
• Continuously expand knowledge of new technologies and practices.
