About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Experienced Automotive Technician to perform a full range of repairs and diagnostics on vehicles at one of its high-tech Inspection Centers. The work spans light maintenance through complex repairs and heavy engine work, including electrical issues on electric and hybrid vehicles. Requirements

At least 3 years of professional automotive repair experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive heat or cold.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must pass a complete background check.
Must be able to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.

Responsibilities

Perform general to complex repairs on all makes and models, including timing belts, suspension systems, and heavy engine work.
Diagnose and repair advanced vehicle electrical issues, including on electric and hybrid vehicles.
Complete repairs involving wheel bearings and axles.
Repair vehicle climate control systems, including air conditioning systems and heater cores.
Use tools and equipment to perform vehicle repairs and diagnostics.
