About The Position

Carvana is seeking experienced automotive technicians to perform a full range of repairs and diagnostics on vehicles at its high-tech Inspection Centers. The work covers general and complex repairs on all makes and models, from light maintenance to timing belts, suspension systems, and heavy engine work. Technicians also diagnose and repair advanced electrical issues, including on electric and hybrid vehicles, and repair wheel bearings, axles, and climate control systems such as air conditioners and heater cores. The position offers a stated pay range of $25.00 to $39.00 per hour and an advertised sign-on bonus of up to $6,000. Requirements

At least 3 years of professional automotive repair experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment and sometimes be exposed to excessive heat or cold.
Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Passing a complete background check is a condition of hiring.

Responsibilities
