About The Position

Holman is hiring a skilled Automotive Technician for Busy Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM Aberdeen. The technician services and repairs vehicles assigned by the Service Manager, following dealership and factory standards. The role requires accurate and efficient repair work, diagnosing malfunctions, keeping up with automotive diagnostic technology, maintaining a clean shop and accounting for dealership tools, and road-testing vehicles to verify repair quality. The technician must adapt to changes in automotive technology and diagnostics. A sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 may be available based on qualifications, and relocation assistance is available.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of dealer-level or large-facility experience.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to undergo and satisfy background requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Manufacturer certifications are highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair vehicles assigned by the Service Manager.
• Perform work on repair orders efficiently and accurately in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Diagnose the cause of malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Maintain current knowledge of automotive diagnostic technology, digital manuals, and reference materials.
• Keep the shop area neat and clean and account for dealership tools.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure repairs are of good quality.
• Adapt to rapidly changing automotive and diagnostic technologies.
