About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Experienced Automotive Technician to perform vehicle diagnostics and a full range of repairs, from light maintenance to complex repairs and heavy engine work, on all makes and models. The work includes advanced electrical diagnostics and repair, including on electric and hybrid vehicles, as well as wheel bearings, axles, and climate-control systems such as air conditioning and heater cores. The role is based in a high-tech Inspection Center and uses state-of-the-art tools. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. The listed pay range is $25.00 to $39.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least 3 years of professional automotive repair experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age and a valid driver's license.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, with occasional exposure to excessive heat or cold.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must pass a complete background check.

Responsibilities

Perform general and complex repairs on all makes and models, including timing belts, suspension systems, and heavy engine work.
Diagnose and repair advanced vehicle electrical issues, including those involving electric and hybrid vehicles.
Repair wheel bearings and axles.
Repair vehicle climate-control systems, including air conditioning and heater cores.
