About The Position

Carvana is seeking an experienced auto body technician to perform bodywork on multiple vehicle panels at a high-tech Inspection Center. Work includes heavy plastic welding, minor metal pulling, roof and rocker panel repair, and large-area heavy bodywork, including Bondo repair. The role requires at least three years of professional automotive bodywork experience and may involve mandatory overtime based on business needs. Technicians use safety equipment and work in a fast-paced production environment that may expose them to heat or cold.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of professional automotive bodywork experience.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Possess a valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a motor vehicle records check.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment and sometimes be exposed to heat or cold.
• Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must pass a complete background check.
• This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
• Able to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.

Responsibilities
