About The Position

Carvana is seeking an experienced automotive bodywork professional to repair vehicles at one of its high-tech Inspection Centers. The position performs bodywork on multiple panels, including heavy plastic welding, minor metal pulling, roof and rocker panel repair, and large-area heavy bodywork, including Bondo repair. Candidates should have at least three years of professional automotive bodywork experience. The role is listed as a second-shift position, Monday through Thursday. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. Employees use state-of-the-art tools in a fast-paced production environment. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check, and the role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 3 years of professional automotive bodywork experience.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Possess a valid driver's license; some positions may require a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Be able to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
Be able to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Pass a complete background check.
