About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Auto Body Repair Technician to perform light bodywork on vehicles at a high-tech Inspection Center. Work includes preparing, sanding, and buffing vehicles; removing and installing bumpers; minor plastic welding; and small-area bodywork, including Bondo repair. Carvana offers training programs for entry-level employees so their skills and pay can progress with the company. The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold, and to work mandatory overtime when business needs require it.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional automotive bodywork experience.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive heat or cold.
• Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Passing a complete background check is a condition of hiring.
• The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
