About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Auto Body Repair Technician to perform light bodywork on vehicles at one of its high-tech Inspection Centers. The work includes prepping, sanding, and buffing vehicles; removing and installing bumpers; minor plastic welding; and small-area bodywork, including Bondo repair. Entry-level employees may receive training programs to help their skills and pay progress. The position is listed for a Monday-through-Thursday second shift.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional automotive bodywork experience.
• Able to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Possess a valid driver's license; some positions may require an MVR check.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment and sometimes be exposed to excessive heat or cold.
• Able to use safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must pass a complete background check.

Responsibilities

• Prep, sand, and buff vehicles.
• Remove and install bumpers.
• Perform minor plastic welding.
• Perform small-area bodywork, including Bondo repair.
• Work mandatory overtime when required by business needs.
