Experienced Auto Body Tech - 2nd Shift Mon to Thur
About The Position
Carvana is hiring an experienced auto body technician to prepare vehicles at one of its high-tech Inspection Centers. The role involves extensive bodywork across multiple panels and includes training other autobody technicians. Work may include heavy plastic welding and stapling; heavy metal pulling, straightening, shrinking, and stud welding; roof and rocker panel repair; and large-area heavy bodywork, including Bondo repair. The position is listed as a Monday-through-Thursday second-shift role. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. The work takes place in a fast-paced, changing production environment and may involve exposure to excessive heat or cold. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check, and the role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience.
- Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Must pass a complete background check.
Responsibilities
