Experienced Auto Body Tech ($4,000 Bonus) - Rio Linda, CA
About The Position
Carvana is seeking an experienced autobody technician with at least 3 years of professional automotive bodywork experience to prepare vehicles at a high-tech Inspection Center. The technician performs bodywork on multiple panels, including heavy plastic welding, minor metal pulling, roof and rocker panel repair, and large-area heavy bodywork, including Bondo repair. The position offers an hourly starting pay range of $25–$33 and a $4,000 bonus. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check, and the role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional automotive bodywork experience.
- Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
- Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Pass a complete background check.
